Come along to experience one of the great British traditions – Afternoon Tea!

Relax and meet new friends in the Global Lounge while trying some delicious teas and cakes. You can also find out more about the Great Scone Debate and the history of afternoon tea.

This session is open for three hours, but you don’t need to stay the whole time. Feel free to drop in and out whenever it suits you.

Global Lounge Ambassadors will be there to welcome you and make sure you feel comfortable, whether you come with friends or by yourself.

Student tips

Thoughts and advice from current students on your first few days with us.

Hearing from current postgraduate students or recent alumni can be a real motivator, so look out for events that offer that opportunity.

Try and make time for some of the taster sessions offered, even if it’s outside your comfort zone. It’s a great way to meet other students too and possibly develop a new hobby.
