Are you interested in learning French? Then join us for a University Language Programme (ULP) taster session.

The University Language Programme (ULP) offers a range of languages and stages, from beginner to advanced, to all NTU students. You can study a language module in addition to your degree course for £330, and if you pass we’ll give you the money back!  If you want to study a language as one of your degree course modules rather than as addition to your course, please check with your degree course team that you can do so. ULP classes take place on the City Campus for two hours per week during term time. We also offer an online-only module for French stage 1.

During this taster session, we’ll give you a taste of a ULP French Language class at NTU. You’ll learn a few basic phrases and interact with the other students using the target language. It’s the best way to get a taste of what to expect from a ULP course and to decide if it’s for you.

We’re offering tasters on campus and online – see Related Events below for the online sessions. There’s no need to book or prepare for the on-campus tasters, you can just turn up!

Sober socialising means you can focus more on people and have time to take an interest in their lives. Doing a shared activity will help to build stronger bonds and friendships.
