Join our HealthyNTU Champions for an afternoon of relaxation in the garden at The Place.
The Place is Nottingham’s drug and alcohol service for under 25’s. This activity is a great way to come and meet staff from The Place, see where they are located and find out about the support they offer. Please note, you do not need to be struggling with alcohol or drug use to attend this event; all are welcome.
Take a break from busy city life and unwind with nature. Join The Place in their garden and learn what they’re growing and sample some treats for yourself – fostering a reciprocal relationship of both what you can take and give to nature. After spending some relaxing time in the garden join us for a mindful nature walk around the Arboretum. You are welcome to drop in and out throughout the afternoon too!
The Place is located just up from Rock City on Talbot Street. You are welcome to make your own way there, however we will be doing a group walk up together led by our HealthyNTU Champions. For this led walk to The Place, meet outside the City Global Lounge at 12pm.
