Join our HealthyNTU Champions and our therapy dogs Paddy and Gunnie for relaxing walk around the Brackenhurst Gardens.
This activity is a great way to meet new people in a laid back environment. If you’d like to, you can also chat to our champions about support and resources available to look after your wellbeing at NTU. The walk will be at a leisurely pace with opportunity to stop, take pictures and take in the nature around you. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.

I'd make an effort to go out with people from halls or to throw yourself into the organised events for non-traditional students. You'll never have the opportunity again to spend an entire week making connections with people - don't waste it!
I was very nervous about starting University as it was a brand new experience for me, living away from home for a long period of time. I thought that there would be nothing for me to attend as I do not like crowded places or drinking. But there were plenty of events that I got involved in.
