Join NTU Arts for guided walk through the Walled Garden at Wollaton Hall, a peaceful hidden space in one of Nottingham’s most iconic locations.
Surrounded by 12‑foot‑high walls, this four‑acre garden offers room to slow down, connect with nature, and get to know fellow students in a relaxed, friendly setting. Along the way, you’ll discover the garden’s history, see flowers and vegetables growing once again, and see the historic Head Gardener’s Cottage, built over 200 years ago.
Students should wear appropriate clothing and footwear for being outdoors, such as sun cream, a hat and waterproofs. The ground is uneven in some places around the cottage and within the gardens.
Tickets
NTU Arts is covering the admission cost for this trip (usually £5 per head) but students are expected to pay for their own bus fare (£3 per journey).
Tickets are limited so please only book if you’re able to attend. Non-attendance may result in your access to future activities being restricted.
Meeting point: Newton Reception.
