Not In Halls and Commuter Students’ Sunday Lunch

Event info

  • Multiple dates available
  • Multiple times available
  • Multiple locations available
  • There is a set ticket price (£5)

Join us on this group trip to one of Nottingham’s best loved pubs. You’ll be joining other students living outside of halls of residence, or who commute to NTU from home, to enjoy a traditional Sunday roast.

It’s a great way to meet other students in a relaxed, informal setting. We would like to maximise your opportunity to meet other NTU students, rather than you bringing along your existing friends or family! Therefore, this event is only open to NTU students.

We have limited group sizes, so to secure a place on this event you must book in advance. £5 will cover the cost of your main course (we will pay the rest), but please bring extra money for drinks, and if you choose to have a starter or dessert!

Vegetarian / vegan roast options will be available. You can also request halal meat (or indicate other dietary needs) on the booking form.

Any questions? Feel free to get in touch!

The number of places on most NTU Welcome events is limited, to help us give you the best experience. If you find that you’re unable to come to an event you’ve booked, please use the ‘Manage your order’ link in your Eventbrite confirmation email to cancel your place. This will help another student to benefit from taking part instead. Thank you.

Student tips

Thoughts and advice from current students on your first few days with us.

Create chats on social media before you start and arrange to meet with people for an activity, night out or just a drink or meal together.

Being organised is vital. Although that’s such a simple tip which I’m sure you will have been told time and time again it really does pay off.
