Thoughts and advice from current students on your first few days with us.
I threw myself into everything during Welcome. I went to a BBQ for non-traditional students (international, local, mature, etc) and met some interesting people. If you're living in or out of halls, go to the nights out (even if you're not a drinker) just to be a part of what is going on and to be a part of the usually hilarious stories these nights produce.
Remember, everyone’s still as nervous as you, this is their first time doing what you’re doing too so push yourself a little bit more to say ‘hi’ – it goes a long way.
