Meet like-minded students on this visit to see The Car Man at Nottingham’s Theatre Royal.
Loosely based on Bizet’s ever-popular opera, The Car Man has one of the most thrilling and instantly recognisable scores in New Adventures’ repertoire.
The familiar 19th Century Spanish cigarette factory becomes a greasy 1950’s garage-diner in the American Mid-West where the dreams and passions of a small-town are shattered by the arrival of a handsome and enigmatic stranger. Fuelled by heat and desire, the inhabitants are driven into an unstoppable spiral of greed, lust, betrayal and revenge.
This trip is organised by NTU Arts – the University’s extra-curricular arts programme.
Please meet us at the specified meeting place, don’t go directly to the venue. We’ll make the easy 10-minute walk together.
Tickets
This trip provides you with a discounted ticket (usually £68). Tickets are limited so please only book if you’re able to attend. Non-attendance may result in your access to future activities being restricted.
