Enjoy a short group walk across the city to Nottingham’s fantastic Central Library and discover events, amazing study and arts spaces, exciting volunteering opportunities – and of course books!
Join us for an approx. 20 minute walk where we will have a tour of the Library and learn how you can get involved. With a dynamic range of music, arts and cultural activities and exhibitions, a great local history section, and games and special interest groups – this is much more than a reading space! You will hear about opportunities to volunteer and have chance to become a library member and borrow books. This is a great event to meet likeminded students along the way!
Following an optional stroll back through the historic Lacemarket area of Nottingham we will arrive back at City Campus for around 3.30pm.
This event is free with no refreshments provided so please bring a drink, and make sure you wear suitable shoes and outdoor clothing for a steady walk. Please note that spaces are limited and exclusively for NTU students, so please book in advance.
