Join NTU Arts for a visit to Nottingham’s historic City of Caves and immerse yourself in an underground world.

Journey around the winding passageways of Nottingham’s largest network of sandstone caves. Discover the lives of the people who found themselves living and working in this extraordinary environment. Soak up the atmosphere of the ancient caves, including WW2 air raid shelters and a medieval tannery.

Due to the historic nature of the caves, they are not accessible for wheelchair users or those with limited mobility.

Advance booking is essential as places are limited. In the case of bad weather, you’ll need to pay for your own tram fare.

Tickets

This trip provides you with a discounted ticket of £5 (usually £10). Tickets are limited so please only book if you’re able to attend. Non-attendance may result in your access to future activities being restricted.

The TicketSource reference/confirmation that you will receive from NTU Arts is not your ticket for entry to City of Caves. Tickets will be issued on arrival at the Caves.

100% attend your course induction week and lessons. This is a great opportunity to meet your lecturers who are going to be teaching you and the students who you will potentially spend the next 3 years with. Also just to get a taste of the modules that you will be doing and what support the University offers you when you need it.
