Join NTU Arts for an evening exploring the life and work of Nottingham-born artist Arthur Knighton-Hammond.
Learn more about his influences and artistic development, and enjoy a guided tour of his pieces currently on loan to NTU.
Spanning more than 75 years, Knighton-Hammond’s practice evolved from landscape painting to industrial commissions and portraiture, reflecting a strong connection to place, people and industry. The exhibition highlights work linked to the local area and rural life, including oil paintings and watercolours, alongside a selection of drawings and etchings on the second floor that demonstrate the range of techniques he developed throughout his career.
Tickets are free but must be booked in advance.
This event is organised by NTU Arts – the University’s extra-curricular arts programme.
